C9 bulbs read from the street and suit rooflines and tall trees outside. C7 bulbs are smaller and sit well on a porch, a fence or a tree indoors.

Matte and faceted bulbs scatter light, clear bulbs sparkle. Shatterproof LED bulbs survive a fall off the gutter.
